Focused Communities of Learning

Students at each grade level are assigned to a "cluster" of approximately 115 students. Each cluster is taught by a "team" of teachers.

BUS INFORMATION

The First Student bus schedule can be found hereAs in the past, if parents do not see their specific address listed on the schedule they should consider the bus stop in the closest proximity to their home as “their bus stop”. If parents have specific questions or concerns for First Student, they can be reached at 352-2303.

KMS Can Drive

The KMS can drive goes until Dec. 12. All types of non-perishable food items are gratefully accepted, but no glass containers, please. Please send cans into school with your child. Our goal is to fill Mrs. Frazier's office so full that she gets kicked out! Thank you.

Morning Announcements

Tuesday, November 25th  Day 6
 
Lunch:  Personal Cheese Pizza
 
6th Grade sectionals are for Group C today.
 
7th and 8th Grade Band sectionals for today are as follows: Period 2- Group 29, Period 4 - Group 31, Period 6 - Group 32, Period 7 - Group 30.
 
All band and strings students are reminded to take their instruments home at the end of the day today to practice over break.
 
Showchoir: Rehearsal is today from 2:30-4:00. This is a very important rehearsal. Please be on time and have your music with you!
 
In Destination Imagination, the Fine Arts group will meet from 2:45 - 3:30 today in Ms. Polizos' room
 
 
There will no longer be a late bus to Sullivan.
 
WordMasters: Please come to the IMC to take the WordMasters test.  Anyone can come and test their word knowledge.
 
Bike, scooter, and skateboard riding to school is over for the season.  It will be announced in the spring when it can start again. After Thanksgiving break, short season will be over.  Please refer to the student handbook for the appropriate dress code.
 
6th grade art club meets Today at 2:45
 
There will be NO practice for Evolutions Dance this week.  Please keep practicing at home and have a great Thanksgiving!
 
To help support the KMS community service efforts at KMS, bring any item for a food drive into the IMC and enter a drawing for the Jeff Kinney tote bag.
